Introducing SmartHost™ by Xplorie

In late 2022, as part of our ongoing initiative to elevate the guest experience, itripvacations Alabama Beaches committed to incorporating Xplorie’s newest program, the SmartHost™ Device with Alexa, into all of our properties beginning in 2023. SmartHost™ is the first in-unit, fully personalized, interactive hospitality guidebook that beautifully displays all the information guests need for an extraordinary vacation experience.
With SmartHost™, guests receive personalized information delivered in a way that many have become accustomed to in their daily interactions at home with their smart home electronics. The SmartHost™ Alexa interface provides guests with a local expert within earshot of their questions. Thanks to SmartHost™, they simply ask a question, and she will immediately answer it for them.
In 2021 and 2022 we began using an Xplorie-connected Alexa Dot in each property which allowed us to gauge the level of guest interaction with an in-room connected device. In 2022 guests asked the Alexa Dot more than 7800 questions! This proved to us that having an extra point of contact in the property that was personalized and made tasks easier was valuable to the guest. Based on that feedback and our commitment to elevating the guest experience, we adopted Xplorie’s newest program. We invested $20,000 to purchase a SmartHost™ tablet for each property; however, we are providing this service at no additional cost to our owners because we believe this investment will reap huge rewards for our owners and our guests. We will be installing them and setting them up in the next few months. Please keep in mind that it is a process and will take some time to get every property online.

We can send messages to guests in one property, a subset of properties, or every property.
Service Requests
Guests can request services like cleaning or maintenance and contact the service team.

Let guests know how to operate the hot tub or when trash day is.
