What You Should Know About: itrip Texts

Approximately 5 years ago we launched a texting program to enhance guest support. In addition to elevating the overall customer service experience, the implementation of this program has provided many other benefits, such as convenience, branding, improved safety, simplified communication regarding maintenance issues, increased reviews, and guest retention. On our end, we have been able to automate communication and processes. We have continually improved and specialized our messaging over the years and the response from guests has been overwhelmingly positive. However, there is one particular aspect to clarify.
Any time we block out a property for maintenance, including deep cleaning, our system recognizes it as an owner reservation. Because of this, you may receive texts regarding “your upcoming reservation” even though you don’t actually have plans to come to your property. We are doing our best to manually prevent those texts from going to you, but occasionally we might miss some. Please don’t be alarmed if you get texts referencing your upcoming reservation if you don’t have any plans to come to your property. You can ignore the texts, or you can stop them from coming by simply replying STOP to any of them.
